Kyle Jensen
Kyle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned his Master’s degree from Arizona State University. He has worked across the full continuum of mental health care, including inpatient, emergency, crisis, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings.
Kyle specializes in trauma treatment and helps clients address the emotional, relational, and physical effects of traumatic experiences. He works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, substance use, compulsive behaviors, and trauma-related symptoms, helping them understand how past experiences continue to shape their present lives and relationships. He has a particular interest in working with chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, panic symptoms, and other physical manifestations of trauma. He believes that many forms of emotional distress and maladaptive coping develop as adaptations to unresolved trauma and that healing occurs through compassion, self-understanding, and meaningful therapeutic work.
His therapeutic approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), informed by Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, mindfulness, and Nonviolent Communication. Through this trauma-informed and holistic approach, he helps clients heal the underlying wounds that contribute to mood disorders, personality-related challenges, substance use, and persistent patterns of suffering.
Outside of his clinical work, Kyle enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, and birdwatching. A Utah native, he finds inspiration in the outdoors and believes that greater self-understanding leads to deeper connection, resilience, and fulfillment.
